Ice Spice makes special appearance at PinkPantheress’ New York show

Fresh off her Coachella debut, Ice Spice has made a guest appearance during PinkPantheress‘ recent New York concert

After play Coachella for the first time ever on April 13, rapper Ice Spice left California to make her way down to New York, where her friend and collaborator PinkPantheress was performing.

PinkPantheress had brought her ‘Capable of Love’ tour to New York, where she treated fans to a tight setlist, packed with her biggest hits – and a surprise or two. Towards the end of her set, PinkPantheress brought out Ice Spice, with whom she shares the viral track, ‘Boy’s a liar Pt. 2’.

Earlier in her set, PinkPantheress brought out another surprise guest, in the form of Kelela. Kelela – who featured on PinkPantheress’ 2023 track ‘Bury Me’ – came onstage after an introduction from PinkPantheress, who said: “I’m gonna cry, you guys. I’ve got somebody that I have looked up to my whole life, my whole career, my whole conscious life… I’m just gonna let her speak!”

Ice Spice’s appearance at PinkPantheress’ New York concert comes just two days after she made her Coachella debut at the Sahara Tent on April 13. During her set, the rapper not only broke out renditions of her biggest hits including ‘Barbie World’, ‘Deli’ and ‘Princess Diana’, but she also turned heads for her cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘Karma’.

It was towards the end of her 14-song setlist though that she used the performance to break out the live debut of what seems to be a brand new, currently unreleased track.

At the time of writing, little is known about the new song, other than it sees Ice Spice bring the energy and incorporates a sample of Sean Paul’s 2005 song ‘Gimme The Light’. Check out fan-captured footage of the new track below, as well as the full setlist on the night.

Ice Spice is due to return to Coachella, where she’ll perform at the Sahara tent once again on April 19.
