Justin Bieber hits the pause button in the recording process of Changes, his fifth studio album coming out this Friday, and takes a much-needed vacation with Hailey Bieber in the sixth episode of Justin Bieber: Seasons, released wide Wednesday (Feb. 12) for non-YouTube Premium subscribers.
His team, from main co-songwriter Poo Bear to health coach Dr. Buzz Mingin, discuss Bieber's quest for perfection on the album and the longstanding pressure he's faced as a onetime childhood star.
When one of the docuseries producers asks Dr. Mingin what effect fame has had on Bieber, he replied, "It's nothing shy of devastating. When someone is 13 or 14 years old, we know that the brain is not yet ready to handle all the rigor that comes with being an entertainer, let alone somebody who's quite as famous as Justin."
To keep him from cracking during what Bieber calls in the episode "the hardest, roughest season of my life," the Biebers book a trip to Utah and stay in the Amangiri resort after Hailey finds it while searching "Best Romantic Getaways." It's a timely clip to watch before Valentine's Day, when Changes will eventually arrive, as viewers can catch up on the couple's serene travels, from breezy boat rides to starry mountain hikes.
