“Homesick” tops Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Airplay charts
Kane Brown has claimed his fifth consecutive No. 1 hit on Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase airplay charts with “Homesick.” Co-written by Brown, Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips and produced by Dann Huff, “Homesick” is the third single from his Experiment album and was preceded by the platinum-certified chart-topping hits “Good As You” and “Lose It.” Brown’s first two No. 1 singles were the 5X platinum-certified hits “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina and “Heaven” from his platinum self-titled debut album.
The 26 year-old singer-songwriter kicked off his North American Worldwide Beautiful Tour on February 29th, following a European opening leg with appearances in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin earlier that month. In each U.S. tour market, Brown continues his partnership with the Boys and Girls Club creating an exclusive free VIP experience for members.
Brown is the subject of a new Amazon Music mini documentary and live EP called Velocity. The doc captures Brown’s meteoric rise to superstardom, from his early days posting clips on social media, to his first headlining show at Staples Center last month, which sold out in just 90 minutes and made Brown one of the rare country stars who have played the venue.
