Kings Of Leon have shared their new single ‘Nothing To Do’ – check out the video to the song below.
The third single is the latest taster of the Nashville band’s ninth album ‘Can We Please Have Fun’, which is due for release on May 10 (pre-order here). It follows previous singles ‘Split Screen’ and ‘Mustang’.
The band have shared a hand-held video for the track which was directed by the band and Casey McGrath, with frontman Caleb Followill shooting it in one take.
The raucous song sees Followill sing: “I’m a man on a mission of going insane / There’s a gold in the breeze / It’s running in your hair/ Is it in my head is neither here nor there / And a picture framed of the day we met / It’s a mystery/ How could i forget that you/ You want nothing to do with love.”

According to a press release, the track “delves into their post-punk sound with its jagged guitar riffs and propulsive drumming.”

The upcoming album – the follow-up to 2021’s ‘When You See Yourself’ – has been produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon. Followill recently explained that he felt “completely fulfilled” with the LP. He also said in a statement that it was “the most enjoyable record [he has] ever been a part of”.
Kings Of Leon are set to embark on a run of UK/Ireland and North American tour dates later this year, including a headline performance at BST Hyde Park 2024 in London. Find any remaining tickets (UK/Ireland) here.
