Canadian rock stalwarts Nickelback have officially announced their 11th studio album, Everything Under The Sun, set for release on October 30 via Virgin Music Group. The announcement arrives alongside the debut of the band's latest single, 'Rattle The Cage', a blistering track that signals a high-energy return for the group.
Reflecting on the upcoming record, frontman Chad Kroeger noted the diversity of the material. "This album has every side of the band on it," he explained. "There are songs that hit as hard as anything we've ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we've been doing this together for so long."

The lead single, 'Rattle The Cage', features a guest appearance from guitarist John 5 and showcases the band's signature heavy rock sound. Kroeger described the track as the "perfect way to kick the door open," highlighting the energy the band has been channeling during their recent live performances.
According to a press release, Everything Under The Sun aims to capture the full spectrum of the band's career, blending "towering arena-ready anthems" with the reflective songwriting and melodic sensibilities that have defined their three-decade tenure. This release marks the group's first project under their new partnership with Virgin Music Group.
Jacqueline Saturn, President of Virgin Music Group, North America, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: "Nickelback have built one of the most remarkable careers in music, and it's a huge honour for everyone at Virgin Music Group to work alongside a band with such an enduring legacy and global impact."
The new album follows the success of the band's 2022 release Get Rollin' and their recent documentary, Hate To Love: Nickelback. While a full tracklist for Everything Under The Sun has yet to be revealed, the band continues to solidify their status as one of the most enduring acts in modern rock.
