Oasis fans hoping to get tickets for the reunion shows in 2025 have already been experiencing issues with Ticketmaster’s website this morning (August 31).
The Britpop band announced a huge run of comeback gigs on Tuesday (August 27), dubbed Oasis Live ’25. Set to take place next summer, the trek will see Liam and Noel Gallagher perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years.
Concerts were scheduled for Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. Mid-week, extra gigs were confirmed for Manchester, London and Edinburgh in response to “unprecedented demand”.
Tickets for the gigs are due to go on sale this morning at 9am, but fans online are reporting issues with both Ticketmaster’s main website and the app crashing ahead of the sale.
honestly @Ticketmaster now is not the moment to crash – you must have anticipated this

The fact I can’t get into see tickets because the website is busy is a sign I am not copping tickets today. Watch ticketmaster crash.

Got on @TicketmasterUK at 8:30am and I’m in a queue to even get on the site. A queue that hadn’t updated in an hour!
Surely Ticketmaster should have known this would crash their site?!

There is currently talk about which previous Oasis members could be joining Liam and Noel on the road in 2025, with co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board.
The multi-instrumentalist plays in Liam’s solo backing band, and had called for an Oasis comeback last year. “I’m ready, got me dancing shoes,” he said at the time.
Previous reports claimed that “no other original Oasis member is expected to join the reunion”, and that “the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in”.
Fans have also been revisiting the group’s final setlist from 2009 to get an idea of what they might play next year. See NME’s dream setlist for the forthcoming massive gigs here.
There are whispers of a potential new Oasis album too, and plans are now “underway” for further concerts outside of Europe.

In other news, Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and will not be appearing at “any other festivals next year”.
Oasis Live ’25 is reportedly set to make an eye-watering £400million, and will follow the extended ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary reissue, out tomorrow (Friday August 30).
n a brief joint statement to announce their long-awaited return, Oasis said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Meanwhile, details have emerged about Liam and Noel’s top secret reunion photoshoot– where a new press shot of the formerly estranged brothers was captured.
“For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight,” a source explained. “The atmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric.”
