Concert will follow the annual awards show at Vegas House of Blues
Riley Green plans to keep the party going after the ACM Awards with a special show at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues in Las Vegas April 5th, kicking off at 10 pm PT. Tickets for “Riley Green & Friends” will go on sale Friday, January 31st at RileyGreenMusic.com with additional partners and guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
“I heard we’d be in Sin City for a few days so I figured my time might be better spent putting on a show than sitting at the tables for too long,” jokes Green. “I’m looking forward to having a couple friends jump up on stage and wrap up the weekend Vegas style.”
The rugged singer/songwriter is set to have a breakout year with his latest single “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” an iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Country Artist nomination and being named as part of the prestigious CRS 2020 New Faces Class. Riley performed a stripped down version of his Top 15-and-rising track on NBC’s Today Show and the sentimental fan-favorite follows his gold certified No. 1 “There Was This Girl.” The songs are both featured on his debut album Different ‘Round Here BMLG Records.
Green’s signature country swagger is in full effect during his live shows, prompting CountryNow to proclaim “He’s Country Music’s Next Superstar” with a sound Rolling Stone describes as “Drinks-in-the-air Nineties country at an Alabama vs. Auburn tailgate.” After spending 2019 on the road with Brad Paisley and Jon Pardi while also headlining his own Get That Man a Beer Tour, Green is currently on Jason Aldean’s We Back Tour through the spring.
