Garth Brooks sells out Allegiant Stadium in 75 minutes | The Music Universe

Over 65k tickets sold in 75 minutes

Garth Brooks has sold out Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. He sold over 65,000 tickets in 75 minutes.

The concert will be Saturday, August 22nd at 7 pm.

This will be the first major concert at Allegiant Stadium!

Since The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour launch in March 2019, Brooks has broken stadium attendance records in St. Louis, MO at The Dome at America’s Center, Glendale, AZ at State Farm Stadium, Gainesville, FL at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, two sold out nights at Minneapolis, MN’s U.S. Bank Stadium, Denver, CO at Mile High Stadium, Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium and two sold out nights at Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium shows, both of which sold out in under an hour. Brooks also broke records at Regina, SK’s Mosaic Stadium show on August 10th that sold out in under a hour, averaging just over 75,000 tickets in each city. Brooks added a second date in Regina, SK on August 9th due to demand. He hosted record-breaking numbers in Boise, ID with 86,000 in attendance for two back to back shows, with special guest Blake Shelton tagging along for the first night to perform their new single “Dive Bar” which was recorded and filmed.

In November Brooks set the concert ticket sales record at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN. Brooks broke the internet, literally, when the initial round of tickets went on sale in September, freezing Ticketmaster’s systems. Moving at over one thousand tickets a minute, the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour ticket on sale for Knoxville, TN came to a halt when the system could not open tickets fast enough to keep up with the demand. Over 80,000 tickets were sold after production hold seats were released and sold out in minutes.

The eighth diamond award winner — a first for music history — broke Detroit stadium records as more than 70k tickets were sold out in 90 minutes of going on sale for Ford Field in Detroit, MI. He sold out Charlotte, NC within 90 minutes of going on sale, making it the largest paid crowd in the history of Bank of America stadium. His May 16th show in Cincinnati, OH is also sold out as he sold 65,000 tickets in less than one hour.

This is the second year of the stadium tour. The trek will hit 10-12 cities per year for three years with most of the venues being college stadiums. In 2019, Garth Brooks The Stadium Tour averaged just over 83,000 tickets in each city and over 914,000 tickets sold to date.

It was also recently announced that Brooks would bid a final goodbye to legendary Studio 6A, longtime home to iconic music series Austin City Limits, with an intimate performance on May 24th. Austin PBS’s Farewell to Studio 6A: An Evening with Garth Brooks will be a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating an iconic institution. Individual event packages start at $2500 with all proceeds benefitting Austin PBS’s Moving Forward capital campaign to support funding for the new facilities.
