Green Day have announced more European shows for 2025, and teased that extra international dates will be coming “soon”.
The pop-punk trio confirmed last month that they would be headlining the Hurricane and Southside festivals in Germany next summer. Now, Billie Joe Armstrong and co. have added four extra stop-offs to their schedule.
They’ll top the bill at the Firenze Rocks festival in Florence, Italy on June 15 before playing their own shows in Vienna (June 17), Luxembourg (30) and Amsterdam (July 2).
“Europe 👋🏻👋🏻 Just added a new festival in Italy next summer and some headline shows for ya in cities we didn’t make it to last time around!!!,” the band wrote on social media.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (October 25) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time tomorrow (Wednesday 23) by signing up here.
Hinting at further gigs to come for 2025, Green Day signed off: “Got a few more international dates announcing soon 👀.” You can check out the announcement post below.

Additionally, Green Day are set to perform at the Tons of Rock festival in Oslo (June 26) and the Ejekt Festival in Athens (July 6).
The band are currently rumoured to headline Glastonbury 2025, and are still free to perform at next year’s festival on either Friday June 27, Saturday June 28 or Sunday June 29.
Glasto co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed at the time of this year’s event that she was already in talks with artists for next summer‘s edition, and Green Day are among the favourites.
Meanwhile, Download Festival recently appeared to hint at Green Day being one of its headliners for 2025. The newly confirmed Florence date takes place on the final day of next year’s event, but the group are still free on the Friday and Saturday (June 13, 14).

As part of the trio’s ‘Saviors’ tour this year, they performed stadium shows in Manchester, Glasgow and London, and headlined the Isle of Wight Festival. They also celebrated the 30th and 20th anniversaries of their classic albums ‘Dookie‘ and ‘American Idiot‘, respectively, by playing both records in full at the gigs.
In a five-star review of their concert in Manchester, NME praised the group for “combining class, youthfulness and scruffy punk anthems into a trademark stadium-rock event”.
Other upcoming dates for Green Day include stops in Mexico City, Cape Town and Dubai ahead of performances in Japan and Australia.
In other news, the band have announced a “demastered” 30th anniversary version of ‘Dookie’ – set for release on Game Boy, toothbrushes, teddy bears and more unconventional formats.
