Carpenter’s track ‘Bed Chem’ was recently named as one of NME’s Best Songs of 2024: “Sabrina Carpenter has made owning her sexuality an art – to the point she’s had to deny being “the horniest girl in the world”. ‘Bed Chem’ hasn’t helped matters. Full of cheeky lyrics (“Come right on me, I mean camaraderie”) and winking euphemisms, this is the song that should have been as ubiquitous as ‘Espresso’.” Her album ‘Short N’ Sweet’ was also included on NME’s Best Albums of 2024 list.

She has also been announced as a headliner for BST Hyde Park 2025, where she will play on July 5, with support from Clairo and beabadoobee, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets go on general sale on Wednesday (December 11) at 10am GMT and can be purchased here.

Carpenter will also headline Primavera Sound alongside Charli XCX and Roan, as well as embark on the UK and European leg of her tour, which will feature former NME Cover star Rachel Chinouriri as a special guest. Those shows kick off at 3Arena in Dublin on March 3, with further shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester – grab tickets for the shows here.

Roan, meanwhile, scored the Number One spot on NME’s Songs of the Year list for her billion-streamed megahit ‘Good Luck, Babe!’
