Sam Fender has spoken about the “inflated” ticket prices for his 2027 UK and Ireland tour, promising fans that they’re “getting changed”. The singer-songwriter is heading out on the road next summer for his ‘Proper Massive Stadium Tour’. He’ll kick off the trek with two huge homecoming concerts at St James’ Park in Newcastle on June 3 and 5.
From there, Fender will take to the stage at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, London’s Wembley Stadium, Dublin’s Marlay Park, Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. Support comes from Wunderhorse.
Following the announcement of the dates, fans shared their concerns regarding the pricing levels. Standing tickets for Newcastle were reported to cost £98.60, with seating ranging from £86.50 to £112.90. Wembley was said to be priced at £130.75 for front standing, £98.85 for general standing, and seating between £64.75 and £130.75.

The apparent prices were published by Instagram user Gavin Davis, who regularly posts leaks for tours. Fender responded directly in the comments section, writing: “I’m not happy with these prices, they’re getting changed.” He added: “It got inflated well more than I’d had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on.”
Fender also criticized the practice of splitting standing sections into “front” and “general” areas. “The standing will not be split as well, I had no idea about it,” he explained. “I have no idea how this was normalised in gigs. It’s bollocks and it won’t be happening on this tour.”

While updated pricing has yet to be confirmed, the artist’s commitment to fair pricing remains a priority. Previously, Fender has been a vocal advocate for capping secondary ticket prices and has actively supported grassroots music venues through ticket levies and donations.
