Global pop icon Robbie Williams has been officially named as the Foundation Ambassador and front-of-shirt partner for Port Vale FC. The singer, a lifelong supporter of the club, has signed a significant two-year partnership that aims to strengthen his ties with his hometown team.
As part of this new collaboration, the 'RW' mark will feature prominently on the front of Port Vale’s home and away kits for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons. Beyond the commercial aspect, Williams will work closely with the club to amplify the impact of the Port Vale Foundation, which supports health, education, and social inclusion initiatives across the city.
Reflecting on the partnership, Williams shared his personal connection to the club: “It feels pretty incredible, to be honest. Robbie Williams on the front of a Port Vale shirt... It’s a match made in heaven, for me. I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me.”

The Port Vale Foundation recently confirmed a new three-year strategy titled ‘One Vale,’ designed to foster a greater sense of community belonging. Williams is the first of several high-profile ambassadors to be announced, with the club promising further updates in the coming weeks.
Port Vale CEO Matt Hancock praised the authenticity of the deal, stating: “This partnership means a huge amount to us here at the football club, and we are absolutely delighted to be working alongside Robbie. He is not only a global superstar, but also a genuine supporter of the club with a deep and personal connection to our town.”

The new 2026/27 home kit featuring the ‘RW’ emblem will be available for purchase starting June 13, both at the Club Store and via the official online portal. This announcement follows a landmark year for the musician, who recently broke The Beatles’ record for the most UK Number One albums with his latest release, BRITPOP.
