The electronic music landscape shifts as NAJEH officially debuts on Butch’s renowned imprint, Finicky Records, with the release of his latest single, ‘Love To Party’. This milestone marks a significant departure for the label, which has historically served as an exclusive platform for its founder’s own productions.
The release arrives on the heels of a highly productive year for NAJEH, who has been steadily building momentum with notable contributions to the scene, including his track ‘Chica’ on Saoirse’s trUst Recordings and a standout EP on Chloé Caillet’s Smiile Records. His ability to craft infectious, dance-floor-ready soundscapes has clearly caught the attention of industry heavyweights.
Butch, who had been road-testing ‘Love To Party’ in his own DJ sets long before the official signing, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “Najeh has ridiculous momentum right now. Everything he touches turns into a record people ask about. He has that sound on lockdown at the moment, and on top of that he’s a genuinely cool guy. I’m proud and grateful he chose us for this one. ‘Love To Party’ is one of the sure shots in every set I play. Massive tune!”
Clocking in at approximately six and a half minutes, ‘Love To Party’ is a masterclass in modern house production. The track weaves together a driving, prominent bassline with warm organ chords and a hypnotic, developing vocal hook centered on the titular phrase. The record has already garnered significant support, including airplay on BBC Radio 1, signaling its potential as a staple in clubs worldwide.
