Blondshell Launches New Era with 'Heart Has To Work So Hard' and Massive 2026 Tour

Blondshell has officially launched a new chapter in her career with the release of her latest single, 'Heart Has To Work So Hard'. Alongside the new music, the Los Angeles-based musician—born Sabrina Teitelbaum—has announced her most ambitious tour to date, spanning North America, Europe, and the UK.

The track serves as the first glimpse into an upcoming album and showcases Teitelbaum’s signature blend of monotone delivery and emotionally charged lyricism. The song explores the complexities of a fraying friendship, with Teitelbaum singing, “My heart has to work so hard when you’re around.”

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the track, Teitelbaum explained that it captures the experience of being trapped in a difficult dynamic. “It’s about pain and confusion,” she noted. “No one trains you for the ups and downs of a friendship between two women, but it’s also about a love so enduring that you find compassion no matter what.”

This release follows her 2023 debut and subsequent tracks like 'If You Asked For A Picture', which earned critical acclaim for its sharp, impactful storytelling. Teitelbaum has previously spoken about her evolution as a songwriter, noting a shift toward exploring the nuances of her identity and gender, moving away from the purely confessional tone of her earlier work.

The upcoming tour is set to be a landmark run for the artist. Her North American dates begin on October 14 in San Diego, concluding in Boston on November 7. Following the US leg, she will head to the UK for her largest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse this December. She will be joined on various dates by a stellar lineup of support acts, including Bully, Starcleaner Reunion, Prewn, TTSSFU, and Theatre.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, May 22, at 10am local time.
