Katy Perry stopped by Australian radio show Fifi, Fev & Byron to discuss her pregnancy on Tuesday (March 10).
"I was that girl, or am still that girl, that had that box, the baby clothes before there was the thought or even an Orlando Bloom," she told the hosts about planning for a baby, which she's expecting with fiancé Orlando Bloom. "I think, definitely, everything’s changing. I wasn’t ready a couple years ago, and I did the work to get ready and now I’m really ready…It’s just time for me, and it’s the right time."
Earlier this month, the pop star surprised fans by announcing her pregnancy in the closing moments of the music video for her latest single "Never Worn White." She's currently in the midst of a whirlwind Australian publicity tour to promote the track, as well as her third go-around as a judge on the latest season of American Idol.
