My Chemical Romance have officially announced an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of their seminal album, The Black Parade. To mark the occasion, the band has made a 2007 live recording of 'The Sharpest Lives' available to stream for the first time, offering fans a glimpse into the raw energy of that era.
Set for release on October 23 via Reprise Records, this special edition commemorates two decades since the four-times platinum record first reshaped the emo landscape. The collection will feature the original tracklist bolstered by six bonus tracks, including three live recordings from the band’s intimate 200-capacity show at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey, back in October 2007.
Among the additions are three fan-favourite B-sides, most notably the previously unreleased track 'Someone Out There Loves You'. The band, led by Gerard Way, expressed their gratitude for the album's enduring legacy, noting that they have compiled everything finished during those original sessions into one definitive collection.
To further honor the milestone, the band collaborated with artist James Jean, who created the original cover art, to produce three new pieces of art for the reissue. The band shared, "Our hope is that you enjoy this collection of music and illustrations as much as we do, because we wanted to honour how timeless and enduring you’ve allowed it to be. Thank you for marching with us. To the death!"

The reissue will be available in several formats, including a 2LP set, a 1LP hologram vinyl, and a limited-edition One Step vinyl package pressed from the original analogue master recordings. Currently, the band is in the midst of their 'Long Live The Black Parade' anniversary tour, performing the album in its entirety to sold-out crowds across North America.
