Niall Horan Postpones World Tour: See His Post

Niall Horan is the latest artist to postpone a tour in light of the global coronavirus pandemic. And unfortunately for Horan's fans, the trek won't be happening until next year.

The "No Judgement" singer announced the postponement Friday (April 3), sharing a heartbroken message on social media. "This was a difficult decision, but the well-being of my fans and my touring family is always my priority," he wrote in the note, fittingly backdropped by an image of a thunderstorm (seemingly from the image on his Heartbreak Weather album art).

"Not being able to tour for what is effectively most of 2020 just didn't feel right and I'm so sorry to all you amazing people who bought tickets," Horan's message continued. "I look forward to being able to bring new music and a new tour for all of my fans around the world in 2021."

Horan also wrote that he is going to wait until "the dust has settled and things have gone back to normal" to announce new dates. For now, purchased tickets will be refunded.

There is one positive to come out of Horan's tour postponement, though: He'll have even more music to perform in 2021, in addition to the new tracks from Heartbreak Weather. "I am going to focus on writing and recording more in order to be back touring next year with more music to play for you all," he added. "I cannot wait to be back."
