P!nk Talks Patriotism, Being An American in Powerful Video: Watch

Has not time for trolls, but, okay, a little to take a couple down hard

At a time of national crisis when tens of thousands of Americans are marching in the streets in all 50 states demanding justice and accountability from law enforcement and their elected representatives, P!nk weighed in with a sobering video about what she thinks it means to be a patriot.

In a 30-second clip posted on Wednesday afternoon (June 3), the singer stared directly into the camera to offer her sobering assessment of the current situation and why she think re-electing Pres. Trump is an un-patriotic as it gets. "How can anyone call themself a patriot or an American if you re-elect a president that doesn't govern, respect or represent half of our country?" she asked.

"That's not America. That's your America," she added. "That's not America. So you either worship the Confederate flag, which is not our flag and it never will be, or you're a hypocrite that doesn't actually understand the meaning of patriotism or what it means to be an American."

The singer, who has never been one to hold her tongue when it comes to speaking from the heart, also continues to have no time for trolls who attack her for expressing herself (as above), especially ones who resort to the tired tactic of slamming her looks.

When one commenter said, "looking more like the dude you are everyday," P!nk snapped back with, "Do you see how anytime an ignorant person has nothing truthful or intelligent to add, they tell you you’re ugly? Do you see how ineffectual and dumb these people are?!?! It’s almost laughable." And when another said "act your age granny!" to the 40-year-old mother of two, she said it was another perfect example of a "trump supporter... telling a woman how old she is. I'm 40. And no, you cannot grab me by my p---y."

She also took some time to uplift a few fans who had praise for her dad's military service and her willingness to share her feelings. One wrote, "Thank you from a retired Army sergeant. We need celebrities to speak up. Nobody wants to hear from a nobody like me." P!nk begged to differ, responding, "You are not a nobody. And you have all my respect."
