Acerbic comedian and crowd-work master Todd Barry is back with a new standup special, Domestic Shorthair, that’s out now via All Things Comedy. Shot at The Den Theater in Chicago, it has Barry riffing on “lawyer hecklers, TV doctors like Sanjay Gupta, learning how to cook on TikTok during the pandemic, AirBnb listings, printer tech support, and cooking competition shows,” plus “a slide show presentation and more.”
“Crafted in a single 48-hour marathon writing session at my weekend home in Turks and Caicos, Domestic Shorthair is both my tour de force and my passion project,” stated Todd. “I encourage you to borrow someone’s laptop and give it a look.” You can watch the whole thing via ATC’s YouTube below.
