Sam Smith has officially announced a series of intimate live residencies in Manchester and London for 2026. These performances will see the acclaimed singer-songwriter take to the stage for 10 headline shows this autumn, serving as a celebration of their fifth studio album, Hazel Eyes, which is set for release on August 21 via Capitol.
The residency kicks off at Manchester's historic Albert Hall on September 3 and 4. Following these dates, Sam Smith will travel to the capital for an eight-night run at the iconic London Coliseum, spanning from September 8 through September 19.
Tickets for these highly anticipated shows will be available for general sale starting at 10am BST this Friday, July 10. Fans looking to secure their spots early can access a pre-sale beginning at the same time on Thursday, July 9.
These UK dates follow a busy touring schedule for the artist, including upcoming performances at The Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City and a stop in Guadalajara. Smith previously hosted a successful residency in Brooklyn, New York, last autumn, followed by a series of shows in San Francisco earlier this year.
A New Chapter with 'Hazel Eyes'
The upcoming residency will showcase material from Hazel Eyes, a 12-track record that Smith describes as deeply personal. The album was crafted over three years alongside longtime collaborator Simon Aldred, with significant portions recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York.
The project features contributions from notable artists including Feist and multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily. Reflecting on the creative process, Smith shared, "This album is very personal, and I feel I have deepened myself as an artist through the making of it. This record and this music is incredibly romantic."
Hazel Eyes follows the success of 2023's Gloria, which was widely praised for its soulful depth and artistic confidence. With these new residency dates, fans will have the opportunity to experience Smith's latest work in an intimate, theatrical setting.
