Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes Surprise Kids in the Hospital: Watch

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes spent their time in quarantine in the best way possible on Tuesday (April 7): surprising kids who are in the hospital.

Working with Ryan Seacrest's eponymous charitable foundation, the pop star couple brightened the day for pediatric patients at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., by calling into the healthcare center via video chat. During the virtual visit, Cabello answered questions from the little ones, and Mendes played guitar, and both danced along with a pair of young patients to Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage."

In another video, Cabello talks about being quarantined with her love, including how Mendes cooked for her.  "He made broccoli eggs today. Have you ever heard of broccoli eggs?" the songstress asked the kids. "It sounds terrible, but it tasted great!"

"Just when the kids thought their video call with @Camila_Cabello couldn’t get any better, @ShawnMendes enters the chat. Thank you both for hanging out and pulling off this surprise," Seacrest wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of photos and videos from the heartwarming virtual visit. The Ryan Seacrest Foundation's official Instagram account wrote, "Let’s just say, the happy tears are still flowing at @childrensnational."

"Kids are the light of this whole world!!!!!" Cabello added on her own Instagram.

Most recently, the lovebirds performed Cabello's latest Romance-era single "My Oh My" -- with Mendes accompanying his girlfriend on guitar -- for the iHeart Living Room Concert for America while quarantining together.
