Stella McCartney Launches Limited Edition 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane' T-Shirt

Stella McCartney has released an exclusive, limited edition t-shirt, made in celebration of Paul McCartney’s new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

The record, which arrived on May 29, marks the music legend's first studio effort since 2020’s McCartney III. Throughout the 14-track collection, the artist offers an intimate look at his formative years in Liverpool, reflecting on his parents' resilience and his early creative partnerships with George Harrison and John Lennon before they achieved global fame as The Beatles.

The album also features a historic collaboration, with Ringo Starr joining McCartney for the duet 'Home To Us', a track that also includes contributions from Sharleen Spiteri of Texas and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.

To commemorate the release, renowned fashion designer Stella McCartney has crafted a unisex t-shirt that draws directly from the album's visual identity. The design centers on the Dungeon Lane street sign, accompanied by two blue tits—a motif that references the birdwatching hobbies her father enjoyed during his youth by the Mersey. These birds also feature prominently in Stella McCartney’s own Summer of Love 2026 collection.

The t-shirt is available exclusively to UK customers for a strictly limited window, running from today, June 2, until midnight on Wednesday, June 3.

The Boys Of Dungeon Lane has already garnered critical acclaim, with NME awarding the album four stars and describing it as a "guided tour of the long and winding road." The review highlights the emotional depth of tracks like 'Days We Left Behind,' where McCartney alludes to the "secret code" he once shared with Lennon.

Reflecting on his enduring career, the 83-year-old icon recently shared his thoughts on the creative process. "Creative satisfaction is just writing a song – it’s still the same old satisfaction that it was," he noted. "There’s something magical about it."

This collaboration continues a tradition of fashion-meets-music for the McCartney family. In 2019, Stella McCartney released a collection inspired by the iconic Beatles film Yellow Submarine, which was famously worn by Billie Eilish during her Glastonbury performance that same year.
