The Morning Show Expands Season 5 Cast with New Recurring Stars

The Morning Show continues to bolster its ensemble as it prepares for its highly anticipated fifth season. According to reports, the acclaimed Apple TV+ drama has added two new recurring cast members to its roster: Sydney Park and Jeff Wilbusch.

The pair will join an already star-studded lineup led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The series also features a returning cast that includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm. These new additions follow the previously announced Season 5 cast members Jeff Daniels, Jesse Williams, Renee Rapp, and Sean Hayes. The show received an early renewal for its fifth season in September, just one day before the premiere of Season 4, and production is currently underway.

Sydney Park Joins as Leah

Sydney Park has been cast as Leah, the new assistant to Cory Ellison, played by Billy Crudup. Park, who recently appeared as Young Amanda in the ABC series Will Trent, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Her extensive filmography includes notable performances in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, Instant Mom, and That’s So Raven. Fans can also look forward to seeing her in the upcoming sixth installment of the Scary Movie franchise, which is slated for release on June 5.

Jeff Wilbusch Cast as Roman

Jeff Wilbusch will step into the role of Roman, the Head of Protective Services for the UBN News Division. Wilbusch is coming off a starring role in the Netflix psychological horror miniseries Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. His previous credits include The Calling, Keep Breathing, and the critically acclaimed Unorthodox.

The Morning Show was created by Jay Carson, with Charlotte Stoudt serving as showrunner and executive producer. The series is produced by Media Res and features executive production from Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, Mimi Leder, Lauren Neustadter, Kristin Hahn, Zander Lehmann, and Micah Schraft. While an official premiere date for the fifth season has yet to be announced, the ongoing production suggests that fans can expect more updates in the near future. The first four seasons are currently available to stream on Apple TV+.
