Sleep Token Surprise-Release Instrumental Version of 'Even In Arcadia'

Sleep Token have surprise-released the instrumental version of their latest album, Even In Arcadia. The release follows the massive success of the record, which arrived last May and secured the band their first-ever Number One on both the UK Albums chart and the US Billboard 200.

The London-based masked metal band has continued to build on their momentum, with the track 'Caramel' also marking their first-ever appearance in the UK top 10 singles chart. The new instrumental collection is available across all major streaming platforms, with a colored vinyl edition scheduled for release on August 7.

This is not the first time the group has offered fans a deeper look into their production. Sleep Token previously released instrumental versions of their 2019 debut Sundowning and 2021’s This Place Will Be Your Tomb. Notably, their 2023 breakout record Take Me Back To Eden did not receive a similar instrumental treatment.

Beyond their commercial achievements, Even In Arcadia garnered significant critical acclaim, earning the band their first two Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Performance. While those specific awards ultimately went to Turnstile and Yungblud, the recognition solidified the band's status as a major force in modern music.

The band's recent output has been prolific, including the December release of a coloring book inspired by the Even In Arcadia era, featuring 25 designs that celebrate their genre-fluid career. Their live presence remains equally formidable; after headlining Download Festival last summer, they received high praise from KoRn, who noted that the performance silenced any remaining skeptics regarding the band's ability to command large-scale stages.

As fans continue to engage with the band's evolving catalog, many are still calling for a full release of the reworked version of 'Rain' that appeared in the The Game Awards 'Hype' trailer.
