Johnny Marr has announced his biggest-ever solo headline show, taking place in London this autumn. The iconic singer-songwriter and guitarist is set to perform at the OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday, October 24, marking a significant milestone in his solo career.
He will be joined on the night by special guest Baxter Dury.
Tickets for the highly anticipated event go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 1). Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Tuesday (April 28) by signing up via the official artist channels.
The new London date follows Marr's summer headline concerts at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl and Dublin's Iveagh Gardens. He is also scheduled to make numerous stops across Europe this July.
Last month, the musician concluded his 'California Calling' North American tour, where he delivered a career-spanning set of hits, classics, and unreleased material. Earlier in April, he also joined Pet Shop Boys on stage in London for a series of rare performances.
Last year, Marr released the live album ‘Look Out Live!’, which features 22 tracks recorded at the Eventim Apollo in London during his 2024 ‘Spirit Power’ tour. His most recent full-length solo studio album, ‘Fever Dreams Pts 1–4’, was released in 2022, followed by a 'best-of' compilation in 2023 that included the new track 'Somewhere'.
In addition to his solo work, Marr has remained active in collaborative projects, including contributions to the latest Gorillaz record, ‘The Mountain’, and his participation in the star-studded ‘Help(2)’ charity album for War Child.
