Kylie Jenner Reveals Her Met Gala Look 'Ruined' Her Eyebrows

Kylie Jenner's bold 2026 Met Gala look may have come at a surprising cost to the star's own eyebrows. The Kardashians star, 28, turned heads at Monday's fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which was themed "Fashion is Art," by debuting a striking set of bleached brows to complement her custom Schiaparelli gown.

However, the transition back to her natural look proved to be more challenging than anticipated. Later that evening, Jenner took to her Instagram Story to document the aftermath, filming herself laughing while jokingly accusing celebrity hairstylist Iggy Rosales of leaving her with "no hair" in her eyebrows.

“My brows are ruined. What is this? What the f— is this?” Jenner said through giggles, showing the camera her brows, which appeared noticeably more sparse than usual. “Trying to dye my brows back,” she captioned the video, accompanied by a shocked face emoji.

The star's ensemble for the evening was a masterclass in high-fashion drama. Jenner walked the red carpet in a Schiaparelli gown featuring a nude-illusion top, faux nipples, and a skirt designed to mimic the appearance of a garment being removed. According to PEOPLE, the intricate skirt was embroidered with over 2,000 satin stitch balls, 10,000 natural baroque pearls, and more than 7,000 painted pearlescent fish scales, requiring approximately 11,000 hours of craftsmanship.

The creative vision behind the look was to push boundaries. “The dress feels like it’s slipping away,” Rosales told Vogue. “It becomes this living sculpture.” The stylist explained that the decision to bleach the brows was intentional, noting, “We even tested no brows just to see how far we could push it.” He added that the hair was meant to convey the same sense of “tension” as the dress, balancing the sculpted elements with a sense of the undone.

For Rosales, collaborating with Jenner is a unique creative partnership. “It’s the freedom to really create something,” he said. “You’re not just doing glam. You’re building a full moment, and when everything aligns—the dress, the hair, the makeup—it feels like you’ve created a character, not just a look.”
