Electronic Groove Announces Charity Compilation for Venezuela Earthquake Relief

Electronic Groove has officially announced a new charity compilation dedicated to supporting families and communities devastated by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. This project aims to harness the power of the progressive house and underground electronic music scene to provide critical aid during a time of profound crisis.

The upcoming release features an impressive roster of contributors, including Nick Warren, Hernán Cattáneo & Tom Pavicich, Danny Howells, Brian Cid, Glenn Morrison, Ricky Ryan & Maze 28, Thaddeus X, Prototype, and Iván Sandhas. These artists have united to donate exclusive original tracks, demonstrating the collective spirit of a community committed to making a tangible difference.

A Collective Response to Crisis

Proceeds from the compilation will be directed to World Central Kitchen to support emergency relief efforts on the ground in Venezuela. Mauricio Viana, Founder of Electronic Groove, emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, "The devastation is beyond belief. Anything anyone can do will help, not only with immediate rescue efforts, but also with the terrible consequences faced by displaced families and the long process of rebuilding."

Viana noted that the response from the artist community was immediate and deeply moving, highlighting the industry's capacity for solidarity. To complement the musical release, the project features striking cover art donated by Venezuelan artist Slomo, whose geometric aesthetic provides a poignant identity to the initiative.

Expanding the Impact

Beyond the digital compilation, Electronic Groove has launched several initiatives to maximize support for the region. A limited run of 250 charity T-shirts is now available, with all proceeds earmarked for the same relief efforts. Furthermore, the organization is coordinating a Miami-based community action event scheduled for July 9th, 2026. This gathering will bring together local clubs, promoters, and music enthusiasts to collect physical donations and raise additional funds for those affected by the crisis.
