HUGEL has officially released his debut album, ‘Twenty One’, via Make The Girls Dance Records. Arriving more than two decades after the Marseille-born artist first began his journey as a DJ, the 21-track project stands as the most comprehensive and ambitious body of work in his career to date.
Built upon HUGEL’s signature fusion of Afro House, Latin House, and Mediterranean influences, the album serves as a masterclass in crossover songwriting. The project brings together an impressive roster of collaborators from across the spectrum of hip-hop, R&B, and global club culture. Featured artists include Snoop Dogg, Big Sean, NBA YoungBoy, French Montana, Roy Woods, Scott Storch, David Guetta, Ultra Naté, Tokischa, Ty Dolla $ign, Quavo, Bryson Tiller, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
The album’s release follows a string of successful singles, including ‘Movin' To The Sun’ with Ultra Naté and Imael Angel, ‘Ron Y Coco’ with Flagrant Drvms and Barbara Doza, and ‘Body Drop’ alongside Big Sean and Scott Storch. Across its 21 tracks, ‘Twenty One’ seamlessly transitions between high-energy, club-focused productions and vocal-led records that highlight the producer's versatility.
This milestone arrives during a landmark period for HUGEL. Following a year that saw him surpass one billion annual streams, the artist made his Coachella debut, returned to Hï Ibiza for his Make The Girls Dance residency, and launched new residencies at Encore Beach Club and EBC at Night in Las Vegas.
