Indian electronic producer Aatma has officially launched his second studio album, 'Ehsaas,' a project that serves as a bridge between the rich heritage of traditional Indian classical music and the forward-thinking textures of contemporary dance music.
The Chandigarh-based artist has adopted a deliberate, episodic approach to the release of this 10-track LP. By rolling out one single each week, Aatma aims to foster a deeper connection with his audience, encouraging listeners to move away from the culture of rapid, disposable music consumption in favor of a more intentional, long-form listening experience.
Musically, Ehsaas is characterized by its structural restraint and focus on emotive composition. Rather than relying on superficial genre blending, the album integrates folk and classical foundations with steady, driving electronic rhythms. Standout tracks such as 'Sukoon' and 'Mahadev' exemplify this approach, layering traditional instrumentation over modern production to create a cohesive, atmospheric soundscape.
This latest project follows a period of significant growth for the artist. Aatma’s 2023 debut album, 'Indian Roadtrip,' achieved notable success on the Indian dance charts, while his 2025 follow-up, 'Relic,' further solidified his reputation. A Point Blank Music School alumnus, Aatma has increasingly expanded his international footprint, with recent performances in Amsterdam, Dubai, Thailand, and Vietnam, alongside support from Tomorrowland Radio.
'Ehsaas' is available now for streaming and download.
