AURORA is celebrating 10 years of her debut album ‘All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend’ by releasing the previously unreleased title track and a collection of alternate versions she has dubbed the ‘Moth Tapes’.
Set for release on September 25, the new reissue comes with a unique moth-inspired vinyl pressing, marking a decade since the original album first catapulted the Norwegian songwriter to international fame.
Built around intimate early recordings, demos, and previously unheard material from the original era, ‘The Moth Tapes’ offers a fresh perspective on the album. The collection includes the previously unreleased title track, which features the artist's signature ethereal style layered over a driving, rhythmic foundation.
“I am growing tired and I am growing old/ the road I walk I walk alone/and I wonder and I think I might take a look, take a look on the other side,” she sings on the track, before transitioning into a euphoric chorus: “Just one look/ oh my demons greeting me as a friend/ I’m home waiting for time to let go/ peace in my body and soul.”
The 10th-anniversary reissue features demos of fan favorites such as ‘The Silent Twins’, ‘Running With The Wolves’, and ‘Let Me Heal You’. It also includes a 2013 demo of the hit song ‘Runaway’, which experienced a massive viral breakthrough in 2021 and continues to see significant global interest, boasting over three billion combined streams to date.
Reflecting on the project, AURORA noted: “It’s been over 10 years since I wrote these songs, many stories have been long lost and now some of them will find their way into your hearts. It feels vulnerable to release something unrefined, but I know sometimes that is what people need the most. I hope these songs create and bring back some good memories for you all.”

This release follows a busy year for the artist, who also released a book earlier in 2026 documenting the album's history through early notebooks, sketches, and exclusive behind-the-scenes photography. Beyond her solo work, AURORA has recently collaborated with Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers to form the band TOMORA, releasing their debut album ‘Come Closer’ earlier this year.
