Portuguese producer and DJ ØTTA has officially announced her debut studio album, 'Pele De Mar,' which is set for release this fall via her own imprint, Hotties. As a precursor to the full-length project, she has unveiled the lead single, 'Pulso.'
The upcoming eight-track LP serves as a sonic map of the artist's personal and creative evolution over the last decade, documenting her transitions between Lisbon, London, and South America. The record promises a diverse soundscape, featuring collaborations with vocalists Bibi Babydoll, Lua De Santana, and Fiah Miau.
The lead single, 'Pulso.', showcases a sophisticated blend of house music foundations infused with Latin percussion and the weight of UK bass. This stylistic fusion is a recurring theme throughout the album, with tracks like the Brazilian-inspired 'Rio' and the London-influenced 'Frio' highlighting the geographical inspirations behind her production.
Since her breakout in 2020 with the 'Plus One' EP and a high-profile Boiler Room appearance, ØTTA has solidified her place in the electronic music scene. With a background in orchestral training, she has successfully transitioned her technical expertise into the club environment, eventually establishing Hotties as both a record label and a global event series.
'Pulso.' is available now across all major streaming platforms.
