Snow Patrol and Kylie Minogue Unite for 'These Alarms'

Snow Patrol have joined forces with Kylie Minogue for their hypnotic new single ‘These Alarms’, while simultaneously confirming the stage times for their highly anticipated performance at Crystal Palace Park later this week.

The collaboration marks a significant moment for the indie rock giants, who initially recorded the track in 2024. Frontman Gary Lightbody revealed that the song was put on hold specifically to secure a duet with the pop icon. “As a huge Kylie fan I originally wrote ‘These Alarms’ with her in mind,” Lightbody explained. “But when we finished the song we quickly realised something huge was missing from it. We all knew it was Kylie’s voice that was the missing piece.”

The track is defined by pulsating synths and haunting vocal melodies, showcasing a seamless blend of Snow Patrol’s atmospheric rock sound and Minogue’s signature pop sensibilities. For her part, Minogue expressed genuine enthusiasm for the project, noting that the story behind the song’s creation was “irresistible.”
