Turnstile Announce Free Washington Monument Show for Humanitarian Relief

Baltimore hardcore giants Turnstile have announced a significant free show at the Washington Monument, scheduled for October 24. The performance aims to raise vital funds for humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine, Sudan, and Lebanon, marking a powerful conclusion to the band's extensive North American tour supporting their 2025 album, Never Enough.

The band confirmed the one-off gig will commence at 3pm local time. In collaboration with Human Concern International, the event is entirely free to the public, though the group has strongly encouraged attendees to donate on-site. All proceeds will be divided equally to support food, water, medical care, and shelter for families in the three affected regions.

Hassan Wadi, global director of Human Concern International, expressed his gratitude for the band's initiative: “As a Gazan, I cannot be prouder of the Turnstile team and community for coming together to support the people of Gaza, Lebanon, and Sudan. Three regions who have suffered so much.”

This commitment to social advocacy is a recurring theme for the band. Speaking to NME at the 2026 BRIT Awards, the group emphasized the responsibility of artists to act as a mirror for global events. “Especially in the States right now, there’s a lot of dehumanisation and a lot of need for empathy and awareness,” the band noted. “We’re a band and we try to do what we can to reflect that, and let people have a voice and shine lights on that.”

The band's recent trajectory has been marked by critical acclaim, including a Grammy win for Best Metal Performance for their track 'Birds' and the successful release of Never Enough: Versions, which featured collaborations with artists such as Elton John, Hayley Williams, and Blood Orange.
