Electronic Groove Records has officially released ‘Oblivion’, a compelling new collaborative single from Shapeless Lab and Under Son. This latest package arrives as a comprehensive release, bolstered by two distinct reinterpretations from industry stalwarts BiGz, Robert R. Hardy, and the Russian duo DP-6.
The original composition serves as a masterclass in deep progressive sound design. It masterfully weaves together acidic sequences, crisp, driving percussion, and evolving melodic textures. Built upon a foundation of tension and deliberate, gradual development, ‘Oblivion’ invites listeners into a world of shifting atmospheres and intricate rhythmic movement.

In their remix, BiGz and Robert R. Hardy pivot the track toward a more melodic landscape. By rebuilding the core framework around a driving groove and expansive, soaring synth work, they amplify the emotional resonance of the original while sharpening its focus for the dancefloor.
Closing out the release, DP-6—comprised of Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin—deliver a darker, more restrained interpretation. The duo leans heavily into cavernous soundscapes and hypnotic momentum, providing a deeper, more introspective perspective on the source material.

‘Oblivion’ is available now for those looking to immerse themselves in high-quality progressive electronic music.
